There are several beaches in Kyrenia which offer a variety of water sports ranging from water skiing, parascending, wind-surfing and jet skiing. There are many beaches around the Lefke area with crystal-clear water and opportunities for wind surfing, diving, and many other water sports. Famagusta has long been famous for its miles of sandy beaches. Some beaches are owned by hotels and have an entrance fee. There are various beaches with bars, sunshades and sun loungers. The beaches are safe with some great spots for swimming and snorkeling.
